Today my little brother (I use the term little loosely as he is easily 5 inches taller than me) is 20 years old! We celebrated with the usual ice-cream cake from the DQ, presents and singing of the Happy Birthday Medley. My Grandpa Jimmy brought over a vcr tape of Christopher's 2nd birthday, and it was precious. It was an all too real reminder to me of how quickly my own little 2-year-old boy is growing up, and in 18 years I'll be wondering where did all the time go?
I left the party for a couple hours to go to a baby shower for my childhood friend, Gretchen. I am so excited for her - this is her first baby, and they already know it is a boy! The best present in my opinion were these teeny tiny party-hat looking things that one places atop the baby's weiner whilst changing his diaper so that he doesn't pee all over oneself - Genuis!
We got home late last night, and the girls were all dragging this morning. So, tonight we'll all go to sleep early and easily - right? My prayers are with Maxine Haines (a family friend) who recently had a stroke and my new friend, Nicole, who is due to have her baby Thursday and has been having contractions for several days now. God be with you both.

My first time at the blog and I love it!!! What a great idea and I get to see the kids. Yes it is very hard to belive that he is now 20. I remember thinking wow when he's 20 we'll be 30. I would give anything to be 20 again. Hope you are having a great week. Hugs and Kisses to all.
